PeopleReady
SITUATION
TrueBlue had just rebranded its long-standing LaborReady, CLP and Spartan brands as PeopleReady. The new brand website needed to deliver the functionality of a temp-staffing giant, and the convenience and functionality that hiring managers and gig-laborers were coming to expect. It also needed to assure shareholders that this rebrand was a step in the right direction.
CONTRIBUTION
As TrueBlue’s Creative Director, I served as the visual brand language steward between the design agency developing this site and internal creative resources.
RESULTS
The PeopleReady site was successfully launched with inspiring functionality and a UI aesthetic that complimented the newly minted brand guidelines.
TrueBlue
SITUATION
TrueBlue’s website had historically been an investor relations portal. They now needed a website that represented the company’s range of staffing services not only to investors but also to customers and employees.
CONTRIBUTION
Working with internal and external UI/UX resources, I led the creative development of several iterations of this new site.
RESULTS
A web development agency specializing in investor relations websites was employed to provide the final solution. They based their solution on TrueBlue’s design assets and best practices.
Cascade Designs
SITUATION
Moving from a long-standing sales rep and key account selling model, Cascade Designs was now moving toward selling directly to consumers via their web presence.
CONTRIBUTION
Working as Creative Services Manager, I supported the new digital manager in his goal of developing a web presence that presented all the Cascade sub-brands with a familial link back to the Cascade parent brand, while providing stand-alone value propositions and best practices in direct selling functionality.
RESULTS
The salesforce was streamlined with the best-of-the-best remaining and the new sites were successfully launched, bringing Cascade into alignment with current, direct-to-consumer selling practices.
Snohomish County
SITUATION
Snohomish County needed a new quintessentially Northwest website for their Sno-Isle library branches. They wanted a UI that fixed their messaging hierarchy problems and invited users to come and explore. The site also needed to provide robust search functionality with an easy-to-use interface.
CONTRIBUTION
As Web Designer, I provided them with several concepts for site architecture. Once they chose the best functional approach, I moved to design. They had me visit some of their libraries to see the colors and textures that their interior designer had chosen. I had fun blending texture color and 3D effects into a design that solved their information hierarchy problems and gave them a workable skin to apply their robust search engine.
RESULTS
Sno-Isle got a website that aesthetically pleased the marketing team, worked well for their back-end programmers, and provided their members with a fun, friendly and informative experience.

I designed the website in Squarespace.

Dave successfully launched his business and his bookings are filling his calendar. He has received many compliments on his website.

Berg-Andonian has successfully launched their business and has never looked back.
